Good Sunday everyone. Our May weather pattern rolls on across the bluegrass state and our warmest days are still to come. We have a good shot of shattering record high temps over the next few days with readings in hitting 80-85 degrees early in the new week.

This warm pattern has produced rounds of thunderstorms over the past several days. Many of these storms have been prolific lightning and hail producers and we may see a few more of those today. Just like the past several days… these will be scattered about the state. You can follow them on regional radar…

The temps today through Tuesday will take center stage as record highs may be shattered… especially Monday and Tuesday. Take a look at the numbers from the NAM…

This warm pattern is already one for the record books for much of the country and the next few days may provide a little icing on the cake.

Changes are brewing for the end of the week into next weekend as a slow-moving, upper level low swings through. Here is the European Model:

That is likely to produce some ugly weather with showers, wind and MUCH cooler temps. Get out and enjoy the next few days.

Have a great Sunday and take care.
