Good evening, folks. We are putting the wraps on a very nice weather day and we are going to get one more nice one. Then…. The heavy rains move back in, bringing a renewed threat for flooding.

My thoughts on the Wednesday-Thursday rains remain the same, with a general 1″-2″ for many, with locally higher amounts across southern Kentucky. The European Model shows this well…

All of this comes to an end early Friday, with a touch of a rain/snow mix in the east. The weekend looks nice, with temps on the increase. That temp increase does not last long as a DEEP trough develops across the eastern half of the country next week…

Old Man Winter will likely throw a few more shots at us before true spring can set in.

Enjoy your evening and take care.
