Good Monday evening gang. The GFS is now seeing the depth of the late week setup of a big trough digging into the region with a storm across the east coast. The end result is the model is trending colder and going toward what other models have been suggesting.
Check out the temps from the GFS…
I suspect the model temps may come down a few more degrees as we get closer. Regardless… temps in the 40s look likely for many areas Thursday and Friday.
There is also a very strong upper level disturbance dropping in from the northwest Thursday night. This MAY touch off scattered rain or snow showers. The GFS even thinks so…
That wouldn’t be a big deal… but it’s worth watching. ![]()
More on all that later tonight. Have a good evening and take care.

Thanks Chris! I wouldn’t mind seeing a few flakes fly! Except isn’t it suppose to warm back up pretty quickly??
