Good Monday and Happy Halloween. Some soggy ghosts and goblins may me knocking on your front door today as a few showers work across the state. You may even hear a spooky rumble of thunder to go along with gusty winds. This isn’t a washout of a day and i’m hopeful we can get most of the rains to shut off in time for the little ones to make their rounds.

Much better weather is ahead for Tuesday and Wednesday as sunny skies return. Readings will head toward 60 for highs Tuesday and into the 60s for Wednesday.
The next storm to impact out region will be rolling in for Thursday and Friday. This should be a potent bowling ball looking low pressure working from west to east right on top of us…
That is how the European has been looking for a few days and most of the other models are now showing something very similar. Here is a view of the European Model precipitation output…
That’s a rather soggy look for Thursday into early Friday and a few models are showing some fairly chilly air. As a matter of fact… a few models are suggesting this to be a much colder system that COULD produce some frozen stuff somewhere across the Ohio Valley…
Hmmm… let’s see how the trend goes with some of the newer model runs.
That should quickly pull away later Friday leaving us with a decent start to the upcoming weekend. That’s when our attention will turn toward a major winter storm that will slam areas from the Rockies to Minnesota.
That storm will drag a cold front in here late this weekend with our next threat for rain and a chill down.

It’s okay, to most of us on here he is a god!
hi every one from the town of wayne, wva. just south of huntington, wva. currently it is 5pm with partly cloudy skies with the temp in the mid 50s. we r 1 hour from the trick or treaters and by the looks on radar it looks as though mother nature may have a few tricks up her sleeve for a few folks this evening with a few garden variety showers and maybe a rumble or 2 of thunder. it looks like for the next week or so the weather is going to be kind of tame or so or normal if you will but most models are going with a big time pattern change toward the middle of november, one that will probably take us into a winter like pattern. until then expect periods of rain and coller temps followed by fair weather about every 2 to 3 days with normal fall weather in between. that is an early take on the next few weeks in a nutshell from an meteorologist weather wannabeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have a great one every one and god bless.
