Good Friday afternoon everyone. A mix of rain, sleet and snow is working across southern Kentucky right now and will continue to overspread the rest of the eastern half of the state. This whole mess will then slow down as low pressure develops to our east.
This will give eastern Ky and extended period of a mix that should eventually change to snow overnight. This could put down i slushy accumulation in some areas with southeastern parts of the state seeing the best chance of an inch or two.
Let’s track what’s out there…
Current Temps

More updates will come your way later today. Have a great afternoon and take care.

Does anyone think we will see snow showers on Monday? The past several runs of the GFS seem to suggest flurries for central KY…or will this burst of cold with the shortwave be moisture deprived? What do you all think…

I saw snowflakes in Bourbon County for a few minutes. With a temp of 40 at 3 o’clock, I don’t think it will warm up much today.
