Good evening, everyone. It’s been a super-soaker of a pattern over the past few days with one more big shot of rain on the way. That comes before the pattern takes on a much colder feel with the chance for some flakes to show up later this week and into the weekend.
The next rainmaker rolls in here Tuesday night and may very well drop another 1″ to 2″ for some areas. The future radar from the Hi Res NAM shows the chance for some thunder and lightning to get back into the mix…
The clipper arriving on Friday can bring some snow showers and flurries to central and eastern Kentucky with the chance for a snow shower or flurries to fly behind it over the weekend.
I like what the Canadian is doing with this setup…
Here are the areas the Canadian sees getting in on some of the white stuff…
The Canadian Ensembles agree…
The GFS Ensembles don’t agree with the GFS and actually see some flakes…
The EURO goes back and forth and is seeing the chance for some snow showers and flurries…
The AI version of the EURO doesn’t show precipitation type, but one can see how it looks to have some moisture around on Friday and early Saturday…
I’ll see you guys back here later tonight for the full update.
Here are your radars to follow along with the wet Monday evening…
Have a great evening and take care.
