Good evening, everyone. Slowly but surely the weather is getting better and this is a trend that continues into the weekend. Of course, it really can’t get much worse than what we had this week or over the past few months.

The week ended with actual thermometers going below zero in several locations this morning…

A few flurries were also noted in central and eastern Kentucky with the rest of the state getting in on sunshine.

That sunshine shows up into the weekend with temps starting to climb. That climb takes us into the 50s by Monday with the chance for 60 Tuesday and Wednesday of next week…

This is ahead of a pattern featuring several systems dropping in from the northwest to close February. That pattern looks stormy into early March as winter tries to flex once again…

This is part of an overall pattern that continues to have a winter look on the EURO Ensembles…
