Good evening, everyone. It’s a chilly start to the final weekend of October as Mother Nature continues to skew our overall pattern to colder than normal. This setup continues into Halloween Week as a busy pattern cranks up.

This pattern is giving the models fits with the poor GFS literally making jumps of more than a thousand miles from one run to the next with how storm systems play out.

The UKMET and the EURO are in pretty good agreement with the first low bringing a few showers later Sunday and Monday and with the deep storm system following that up from Tuesday through Thursday.

Here’s the UKMET with both systems…

The EURO gives us a good idea of how deep of a look this is…

Here’s what the EURO Has with the system next week and look at how close it is to grabbing Melissa…

Melissa is about to become a catastrophic hurricane for Jamaica and Cuba…

The pattern behind all this likely features a big dip in the jet stream across the eastern half of the country to begin November…

Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
