Good Saturday everyone. The weekend is here and the weather continues to look pretty good with some sunshine and seasonal temps. Enjoy it… the big change toward a winter looking pattern next week will get started sooner rather than later.

I have been fighting with the internet tonight, so I will hit the high points of the forecast.

– Today will feature mostly sunny skies as our winds gust up once again. Highs will be in the low and mid 60s.

– Sunday still looks like the best weather day of the foreseeable future. Temps will be in the upper 60s to low 70s for many.

– A front will settle southward into the state Sunday night and early Monday. This will cause our clouds to increase and will also bring our temps way down from north to south. Look for a big temp gradient!

– The BIG change starts on Tuesday and the setup looks a little different than before. The Monday front is pressing farther southward leading to the area of low pressure developing right on top of us. This means Tuesday will be much cooler with rain breaking out. Winds should still be rather gusty.

– As the low sweeps to our east Tuesday night… MUCH colder air works in from the northwest and will stick around for several days. Check out the cold look from the European Model…

I’ll dive in and get more specific on that winter looking pattern with an update later today. Have a great Saturday and take care.
