Good Thursday evening everyone and thanks for making the center one of your stops for weather. Showers and thunderstorms have been common across the state today and that trend continues this evening. As the rain tapers off from the west overnight. Winds are going to begin to crank up as colder air surges in.

Some evening notes…

– Winds on Friday will make a run at 30mph at times. Hold on to those hats!

– Leftover clouds and a few showers will be possible into Friday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s north and east with mid 60s south and west.

– The sun returns for Saturday as a chill remains. Highs from 60-65 look good with our winds remaining gusty.

– Sunday looks good with highs in the low 70s.

– I am a little more concerned about the weather for Monday as a weak front dips in from the north.

– The big chill for the middle of next week is still a go as a major storm cranks up across the eastern half of the country. Take a look at the European Model…

Looks like winter, doesn’t it?

I will talk more about that with the late night update. As you remain on the edge of your seats awaiting that update. Let’s track some rains…

Have a great evening and take care.
