Good Wednesday, weather weenies. A potent system continues to press across the region, keeping the wet weather into the middle and end of the week. From here, we watch for another system to impact us through the weekend and into early next week.
The showers and storms out can still be on the strong side with the potential for a local severe wind gust. Watch for locally heavy rains today that can put down enough rain to cause a few high water issues…
Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will likely hang around into Thursday and Friday. Each round may contain very heavy rainfall, with additional, local high water issues possible.
As we roll into the weekend another system is likely to have a big impact on our weather. As I’ve mentioned for several days now, another upper level system may slowly move across the Ohio Valley, bringing more in the way of very wet weather. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms look to be on the increase once again…
Heavy rainfall will once again be the main threat, as we continue to be on guard for local high water issues. This is a very abnormal pattern for early August, but it fits the overall pattern for the entire year.
Have a great day and take care.
