Good Wednesday evening, everyone. A round of winter weather is pushing into the state this evening and should be able to put down some light accumulations of snow overnight. This is a potent little clipper that can overachieve in a few spots. But where?
The best chance to pick up on some slushy accumulations continues to look like it will be along and south of Interstate 64…
All of this will begin as rain and a rain and snow mix before going over to all snow overnight and Thanksgiving morning. That’s when temps drop into the upper 20s and some slick spots may develop on area roads.
Leftover flurries will be around on Thanksgiving with highs only in the 30s.

Thanks so much for all your time you give us Chris! Happy Thanksgiving!
Chris needs to add a third category to his snowfall maps. “No Chance”
He could put that right over Woodford County and be right 99.9% of the time.
Owensboro! Owensboro! Owensboro!
Temps are warmer in southern KY so even though the moisture is better down that way not seeing the cold air arriving fast enough for accumulations?
Radar shows a band of heavier precip moving north of Etown, if that can make it to Lexington and frankfort areas that might be the zone for some accumulations tonight since it is several degrees colder in those areas! As always, just a rookie observation 😉
HAPPY TURKEY DAY folks, I love all u all!!!
We love you to ROLO!!!! I am guessing he watched Plains Trains and Automobiles today……er…..yesterday……Happy Turkey Day….to all…and to all a good night!
Thanks for the update CB…
