Good evening, everyone. Showers and thunderstorms are racing across the region this evening as a cold front settles into the region. This front will usher in much colder air and gusty winds on Thursday, with snow showers and flurries coming in behind that.

Firs things first, let’s track the boomers…

Much colder air comes in behind this for Thursday with snow showers and flurries flying late Thursday into Friday. Some light accumulations are possible, especially in the east.

I have no changes on the weekend with mainly rain, with some wet snow possibly mixing in on Saturday.

The next storm for Monday can produce high winds and strong thunderstorms…

After that, the arctic front slams in here Tuesday night into Wednesday, with the potential for some snows behind it. The arctic air pouring into the country is the real deal late next week into the following weekend.

Watch the blocking developing overtop of a deepening trough engulfing the entire country…

I will update you again later tonight. Make it a good one and take care.
