We actually need a little drink of water across most of the state. But, we would have liked the timing of it to have been a little different.
Highs today till stay way down because of the clouds and rain. Many areas will have a hard time getting out of the low and mid 60s. Lingering showers and thunderstorms will stay with us tonight and into Monday… especially in the east.

Shouldn’t the umbrella be pink?
The weather is very appropriate for me today. I went to the cemetery in Parksville and put up a hanging basket alongside a hummingbird feeder at my mother in law’s grave site. It was very emotional yet peaceful all the same.
