Chris, just noticing some major news networks posting thoughts on winter, talking about El Nino taking over and small chances of much snow and cold for our part of the world. I know that you give very little attention to “the others,” but I wonder if you could speak to your “less scientifically savvy” viewers, teaching how to read short and long range models and develop a hypothesis, rather than jumping on a bandwagon. Whatever the weather brings, it’s nice to know how to, not only understand your findings and analysis, but to be able to have an educated guess of our own. Thanks for all you do. Loved the sunshine today while jumping in leaf piles with the kids. Have a great night.

As I understand, a weak el Nino is when we tend to have more snow here.
