Good Sunday everyone! The last day of our weekend will continue to see a few more showers out there to go along with some cooler temps. Today also marks the start of Daylight Saving Time which arrived at 2 am this morning meaning, if you didn’t set your clocks up an hour, your whole day is gonna be messed up!
Track today’s showers here…
Let’s take a look at some weather headlines…
1. Today will continue to feature below normal temps as highs stay in the middle 40s for most areas.
2. Monday will see a scattered shower or two holding on across the east with some sun west. Highs will hit the 50s west and stay in the 40s east.
3. Temps will return to the 50s for the entire state by Tuesday as the sun returns. There is a small chance for a few sprinkles by Wednesday as temps stay in the 50s.
4. The end of the week will see the temps making a run into the 60s for a few days.
5. It is by next weekend into the following week that the pattern takes on a much more wintry look across much of the country. I am not a happy camper with the pattern for the end of the month.
Have a great Sunday and take care.

FIRE IN DA HOLEEEEEEEEE!!!
been since 2004, yep we havnt won SEC TOURNEY since then, but today the TITLE COMES BACK HOME!!!
I see Chris can’t stop himself from putting all the bad news at the end! 😉
That’s alright though….because it’s gonna be a celebration day for the Big Blue Nation! GO CATS!!
I’ll say this again. When this supposed winter weather comes back, I’ll believe it. Until then, it’s just pure conjecture.
Must be weird on the ball players to have to play an hour earlier..
farmers almanac says the biggest snow of the winter will come in March.
I just hope if we have to have winter weather, it doesn’t come as ice…
Any thoughts on Easter weekend, yet, Chris?
Its March…that in itself is enough.
The word WINTER sounds like a dirty word to me. 🙁
Boy, I don’t get all the folks who are actually hoping for winter weather at this point. It’s March! Can’t we all agree to put winter away for another year?
Jeff Hamlin
Why is so hard to believe that we could get another cold snap? That happens A LOT in March and even April, not that I want anymore. Just sayin’
I can’t believe how little rain we have had (at least here in Lex) the past week. It’s just been cloudy for the most part.
does anyone know where a printable bracket is?
That’s the purpose of forecasting… right?
I guess I could be like others and just wait until something is already happening before I forecast it.
Please don’t do that, CB…there are plenty of us on here who do appreciate the way you forecast.
I like knowing in advance, and I’m going by what your forecast is…you haven’t missed on my part of the state this year! (Johnson/Floyd area)
Even though it was a nasty dreary day day it could not have been brighter for us wildcat fan! To answer your question, the brackets are avaliable on espn.com or cbs sports.com, hope thay helps, I don’t know how to post a link or I would, all this computer stuff is greek to me.
april 1987 remember it, it could happen again!!!!WOOOOOOOOO
Not sure about analog years but I do remember a spring break when my buddies got stuck in Jellico with 15 inches of snow and it was April!
I’ll never forget coaching a middle school baseball game in April and getting snowed out. Probably the coldest I have ever been.
Thanks Chris for everything you do for us! I love your forecasting. I always come here to your blog for the weather.
That was the year that we had snow on the ground for spring break in SE KY.
