All have that big ridge across Alaska and western Canada. That usually spells a very cold pattern setting up across much of the country.
Between now and then… we have a seasonal brand of cold with the traditional ups and downs. One of the bigger downs comes late Sunday into Monday…

When it warms in Alaska it usually turns colder in the eastern half of the US.
