Good Sunday, folks. It’s calm and quiet for the most part and that’s exactly how we like seeing things on this St. Patrick’s Day. The pattern for the week ahead will feature a couple of weak systems dropping in from the northwest, but the pattern behind it is going to warm very quickly.
I don’t have much t talk about, but let’s throw something out there. 🙂
Winds increase today as temps hit the 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. There’s a slight chance for a shower tonight as a front slides through the region…
Temps come down a few degrees on Monday as a chillier wind will be blowing. Lows are back into the 20s for the next few mornings.
The system moving in here for the middle of the week will bring gusty winds and a few showers…
Temps are chilly right underneath that system, but thermometers really surge behind that by the weekend. Highs likely reach the 70s.
The pattern has some bowling ball type systems rolling east across the country next week. That could bring a few rounds of strong thunderstorms our way, but the pattern isn’t skewed as wet as what we’ve been seeing…
Have a great Sunday and take care.
Great.
Not as wet.
And warmer air coming.
I like to here that.
Looks like snow showing up on the radar this morning
Yeah, Looks like a weak clipper system through out central Indiana. This may bring us one more chilly night in the upper twenties. Looking forward to the seventies latter in the week and I hope those “bowling ball” skip the alley and land in the gutter. HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY EVERYONE !
Twenty five degrees right now in my backyard. OUCH !
26 was my low but sun coming out on this frosty morning now.
I am not crazy about how it feels temp wise over the next several days, but this cool/dry weather will help prevent the more sensitive plants and trees from coming out too early. I like that we are drying out some; I haven’t even reached the normal March average monthly precip total yet unlike the last several prior months when I was starting a surplus by the 10 or 15th of each month!
I look forward to the warmth next weekend, however:)
Loving the dry weather. Anything 50+ and dry is a super day in my eyes. The winter that never happened looks to be done. Going to get out and enjoy the sunshine. Have a great day everyone.
I always had a problem with late freezes when I was running my Nursery business in southwest Indiana. So far this March we had 1.35 inches of rain.
I am okay with this type of weather at this moment knowing that in a few months we will be in the oven.
Since I’ve been here in the hills of central Kentucky after retiring from my greenhouse and garden center business the SUMMERS here at my cabin have been mostly comfortable compared to southwest Indiana where the humidity and dew points were through the roof and the high temperatures would match the lows.
