The Canadian is also bringing some rain into the state…
The GFS continues to be in it’s own little world and has this system WAY south…
Bless it’s heart!
I will focus on the post Christmas pattern change with updates late today and into the weekend. Make it a good one and take care.

All be it not a big deal event, I bet Harlan gets an inch out of this weekend system before all is said and done, especially if the NAM verifies as every run on the big models, except the GFS, keeps moving the system north. No cracks in our mud in SE KY for Christmas, lol!

If it is not going to snow, I am down with the dry & mild temperatures.

Meh….is this the calm before the storm??? Many outlets have the OV in a cold and snowy senerio for this winter season. Is this the year that we crash down the snow dome, or is it going to be as dismal as our last three winters. We are overdue for Cold and snowy and some of the analogs years from the summer and fall point in that direction. As Terry and a other pointed out yesterday, out winters don’t really get started until January/Feb so at least there is hope. As much as i would like a snowy Xmas it would just mess up a lot of peoples plans and such so I will take warm and dry. Thanks CB

I was just wondering why does some out there call Christmas X-Mas ?Your taking our Lord Jesus Christ out of a very religious holiday. Sad world we live in and sometime in the near future we are all going to pay for it BIG TIME. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !
We got five days until Christmas Eve. The weather could change and we still could get a White Christmas. This is an optimistic day for this snow lover. I think in January, February and March we will have plenty of snow to play in. Not buying into those depressing weather models that Chris is displaying on this mornings blog.

Even the 12z run of the NAM caved and said I’ll give you absolutely nothing to talk about weather wise with the southern system. (Not that it was much to talk about in the first place)

Christmas traditions are stolen from pagan practices, dude. Enjoy the solstice tomorrow.
That’s actually true
