Good Wednesday afternoon everyone. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is out for much of central and western Kentucky until 11pm. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats as these storms roll southeastward into the state.
The latest watches and warnings…

I will have updates as needed and via twitter: @kentuckyweather. Have a great evening.
What was up with that Tornado Warning in Shelby County? That had to be the smallest polygon I’ve ever seen.
Dunno, but we’re getting a monsoon here in Richmond. 😀
Tornado warning in Corbin too
I sat through the roughest t’storm I have seen in Richmond in years. There must have been 50 mph winds! I never heard a warning from the towers or on the radio. Did I just miss it? We get warnings through the e.m.s. at a drop of a hat it seems but I didn’t hear one tonight.
looked like we were going to get atleast some rain here in flatwoods but we did not even get one drop!!!!!
There was a tornado warning in Whitley, I believe it was for the northern part, but there were a few people saying that there was a reported tornado in Williamsburg, KY. Was there ever any sightings or any reports about it.
