Good evening, everyone. We continue to watch for the potential for strong to severe storms over the next few days. This action is ahead of a potent cold front arriving late Wednesday. That will bring a frost threat by Friday morning.

Rounds of strong to severe storms show up on Tuesday, with damaging winds and large hail as the main players. There’s also a small tornado risk with any storm that can get to spinning. The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the Slight Risk for just about the entire region…

That risk focuses farther south as we head into Wednesday…

Once the front moves through, temps head toward the freezing mark by Friday morning.  This kicks off a colder than normal pattern that lasts through next week. I will get more into that later tonight.

I leave you with your radars to track any storm action out there this evening…

Have a great rest of the day and take care.
