Good evening, everyone. I wanted to drop by for a very quick update as we head into the first full week of 2021. It’s a week with a couple of systems set to impact the region as we continue to sink into a full blown winter pattern.

First things first and that’s to track a few rain and snow showers across central and eastern Kentucky…

The clipper system we’ve talked about rolls in behind this on Tuesday, bringing a touch of light rain and light snow across central and eastern parts of the state…

That’s pretty light stuff we’re talking about here.

I have no changes on the system coming behind that by the end of the week and there are no changes to where I think this pattern goes into week two of January and beyond. The new EURO Ensembles continue to show this stormy and cold look right on top of us…
