Good Wednesday, weather weenies. We continue to track a weak cold front across the state as it brings colder temps and a few flakes back into the region. This is the first of two weak systems impacting the weather over the next few days as we then begin to focus on a very busy setup ahead.

Today’s flurries and snow showers will be rather sparse, but will show up across central and eastern Kentucky early today. Here are your radars for to find whatever flake shows up…

Temps today are generally in the 30s, but gusty winds make it feel colder than that.

The next system rolls across the Tennessee Valley Thursday and brings the chance for a touch of light rain and light snow across the southern half of the state. This starts later tonight and is gone by midday Thursday…

There’s an outside chance of a small accumulation showing up across the far southeast.

Cold winds blow in behind all this for Friday and Saturday, but things look mainly calm during this time.

The setup after this features a strong low pressure rolling right on top of the state by late Sunday into early next week. This can bring heavy rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds and winter weather into the area.

The EURO and Canadian Models continue to have the best handle on this…
