Good Thursday to one and all. We have another windy and warm day taking shape, but the focus of the forecast is on the increasing threat for showers and storms. This kicks off a very active pattern that will take us through the weekend and into next week.

Highs out there today will generally range from 70-75 in most areas on a gusty southwest wind. Much of the daylight hours will be dry, but thunderstorms will form to our west and northwest as the day wears on. This action drops in here during the evening and overnight. There’s even a low-end risk for strong to severe storms in the west…

The front sags into the southern half of the state Friday with additional showers and storms working through. Additional showers and some thunder will then show up Friday night into Saturday, especially across the south. An inch or two of rainfall will be possible for some areas.

The front lifts back to the north with some chilly showers Sunday. This will be followed by more showers and a few storms for Monday as our upper low opens up and rolls through…

This will be followed up by another storm system a few days later…

I will have another update later today, so check back. I leave you with the return of your radars…

Make it a good one and take care.
