Good Monday evening to one and all. The storm system impacting the area overnight into early Tuesday is behaving itself very well and that means I have no changes to the ideas already on the table.

Rain continues to overspread the state this evening and that carries us into the overnight hours. Temps will continue to fall and this will lead to a period of rain/snow mix overnight that ends as some light snow Tuesday morning. A light accumulation of slush is possible for a few spots, but I just don’t see very much sticking as our temps will be marginal for that to happen.

The prime areas for a grassy or rooftop coating will be the areas I highlighted with my last update. This basically covers the northern half of the state.

As I mentioned on air tonight… do your homework, kids. I am not expecting any cancellations with this fast moving brush with winter.

Let’s follow the moisture on regional radar…

I will have a full update later tonight to talk about where we go after this. Just remember… what goes up must come down.

Enjoy the evening and take care.
