Good Friday and welcome to the start of the weekend. Before we get started with the weather portion of the show… unleash some Loverboy as you read…
Talk about living the good weather life, conditions over the past several days have been nothing short of awesome. That trend is going to carry us for a few more days, before we start to mix it up as we roll into next week.
Today will feature temps in the mid and upper 70s for highs in the east and the low 80s in the west. Skies will be partly sunny with fairly low humidity levels.
Saturday looks great with 50s to start and low 80s to end as we keep a mix of sun and clouds.
Moisture increases for Sunday and that could lead to a storm or two going up…
A scattering of showers and storms will be around into the first half of next week. Temps return toward the mid and upper 80s for some. A strong cold front will move our way by later Wednesday into Thursday and that will really increase our rain chances…
Most models not named the GFS are developing a big dip in the jet stream during this time…That COULD be a very cool air mass pushing in here to end the week.
Now… go around humming that song the rest of the day… You can thank me later. 😉 Make it a great Friday and take care.
YOU ROCK!!!!! Teachers love this song!!!!
i like that song too. actually like quite a few from loverboy. turn me loose, this could be the night, the kid is hot tonight, loving every minute of it, when its over. great band back in the day.
looking forward to the cooler temps coming next weekend. i remember last year living in houston, and sept came, then oct, then nov, i kept thinking, is it ever gonna cool down? im used to by sept, we see cool temps. i left and came home at end of nov, it was 85 when i left houston, was a cold 22 when i got home here in ky. i was loving it.
hope we get more snow this year then we did last year. last year wasnt the best snow year, but wasnt the absolute worse ever either, but it was close.
thanks chris.
Thanks for all the “cool” blog reports! Your the best weather dude! 🙂
Love the cooler air; however our local Met says 91 for next Friday:(
Could still use a little rain in Frankfort even with that 2.7 inches last Saturday, most of that ran off I guess!
Thanks, Chris, for the update and for ” Working for the Weekend”. Yes buddy!
