Good Saturday, folks. It’s the final weekend of July, but the overall weather pattern looks and feels like the final weekend of September. This pleasant brand of air isn’t going to be one and done, with another shot waiting in the wings for next weekend. That one may be even cooler than this one.
We know all the weather is out there this weekend… It’s awesome… ‘Nuff said. 🙂
Temps will rebound into the low and mid 80s to start August on Tuesday. That’s ahead of another potent cold front dropping in here by the end of the week. That should produce more showers and storms…
That is being pushed by one DEEP trough showing up on the European Model. It’s so deep, I have to use the North America map to fit it all in…
Check out the temperature departures showing up on the European for next Saturday…
That’s pretty amazing to see in early August and is a setup many of you would kill to see in the wintertime.
The Canadian model is also showing this…
Look at all that below normal air surging into the eastern half of the country…
Make it a great day and take care.
Thanks Chris, Great weather, and a welcome break from all that heat and humidity. The lower dew points between 50 degrees and 60 degrees will not come till tomorrow. The high pressure to our west is not ridging north as I have expected, therefore, the temperatures are not that much cooler with the warmer jet stream mixing with the cooler air. The lower dew points with temperatures in the mid 80’s is still very comfortable though. Late next week a stronger ridge will develop out west and may bring much cooler temperatures, along with a deepening trough that may stay a little longer than our current cool down. Make it a great day. Go outside and enjoy the free air conditioning. Always friends here.
Thanks Chris
Clouds, moving from the east are beginning to break up and give way for a beautiful afternoon. Temperatures, in the mid 70’s. Can’t get any better weather than that.
