Good evening, gang. Strong to severe storms are diving southeastward out of Indiana and Ohio and may impact northern parts of the state late this evening into the overnight. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH has been issued until 2am for northern parts of the state.
Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats. Torrential rainfall may lead to localized high water issues and A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for northeastern Kentucky.
I have your up to the minute tracking tools…
Have a great evening and take care.
Storms are being hard pressed to get into KY looks like high pressure is just strong enough to keep severe t-storms at bay for the time being. Tomorrow looks to be a better day for storms for Ky storms this evening should leave a boundary closer to the commonwealth to fire up.
