Good Friday afternoon everyone. Severe thunderstorms are blowing up across southern and eastern Kentucky and these are working off to the northeast this afternoon. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats with these storms and for that reason a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is now out until 8pm for much of the area. Torrential rains will also be possible with these cells so please keep an eye on the potential for local high water issues.
