Good Wednesday, folks. Another heavy rain maker is on the way to the bluegrass state from late Thursday through Saturday. This will likely produce another 1″-3″ of rain on the heels of the 1″-2″ that fell in many areas on Monday.
The rainfall numbers from the GFS…
The NAM…The WPC has outlined most of the state for possible flooding…
A chill down in temps will follow the heavy rains from later Sunday into Monday. We should spike back up into next week, but winter fights back after that. Check out the well below normal temps coming our way…
I leave you with some tracking tools…
Make it a great rest of your day and take care.
this time of the year below average temps aren’t as cold as jan and feb …im just guessing but u would have to go 25 degrees or so below normal to get some snow …which we all have seen b4 around here
Feels great outside, time to grill some steaks
I 2nd that notion!!!
Still notice CB is not using the word “cold”, so we might be out of the woods as far as more salt accumulation.
I live in the Southland Drive area which has always had a problem with flooding. Yesterday going to the store I was driving on Southview and water was coming out of the man holes. This happened with just one inch of rain yesterday. I know that some of that was also the result of melting snow, but if we get 3 inches of rain you will not be able to go to the stores down there.
Shore glad we missed it !
