Good afternoon, gang. Another round of heavy rain is about to push into the bluegrass state. This begins later tonight and carries us into the start of the weekend, and could deliver another round of flooding to our region.
The various computer models continue to point toward another 1″-3″ of rain during this time…
As you can see, the heaviest corridor of rain may fall across central, western and northern parts of the state.
A Flood Watch is currently out for much of these areas…
Several rivers are already under a Flood Warning following our recent rains and the expected heavy rain amounts on the way.
I have you all set to track the developing rains in from the southwest…
Enjoy the dry weather for the rest of the day and take care.
Thanks CB. When exactly do we have the potential to see snow?
Thanks Chris. Got some of that Sunshine in Somerset! Very nice indeed!
Hey more rain. Good thing, my yard is not muddy enough. And those rivers are not nearly high enough.
Thanks Chris for the update. Have to keep an eye on this since I need to pick some stuff up tomorrow evening at Lowe’s. Might just put that off a day or 2. And if you can, please provide a few sunny dry days. Not sure you have any influence with mother nature but you could always give it a shot.
Please, no more rain, snow, or cold. I would like to see the second half of March be like March of 2012. The majority of days that month were in the 70’s and 80’s. Bowling Green only had 3 days below 60. It was great.
80s in March is too warm IMO. I want spring, and can hold off the heat until June. Sunny and temps in 60s and 70s is perfect.
Yes, but March 2012 also had the devastating tornadoes of March 2 which included the infamous West Liberty KY and Henryville IN twisters.
No.More.Rain.
Death Valley sounds nice about right now.
Hamlin, you want to go half on a couple plane tickets?
One caveat -> you cannot wear that notorious ‘mankini’ of yours.
The only thing I want my eyes seared by is sunlight. 😉
Sounds good. We can fly cheaper out of Cincy to Los Angeles or Las Vegas. 😛
Maybe I should move to So Cal. No snow and little rain. So ready to the wet stuff to end.
Plenty of mountains in SoCal that get good snows at the higher levels above 5000 feet. The views are amazing. 🙂
I wouldn’t be holding my breath on anymore snow
