Good evening, gang. Dense fog and increasing rains are dominating the evening across the bluegrass state. This heavy rain carries us into Tuesday until a cold front finally sweeps it all to our east.
That doesn’t mean we are totally in the clear. Another disturbance drops in on a northwesterly flow Wednesday night and Thursday morning. That is likely to mean some rain and snow showers working into central and eastern Kentucky…
The new GFS then tries to dive another rain of snow shower maker into northern and eastern Kentucky later Friday…
Here’s where the model sees the best chance for seeing flakes this week…
Looking longer range… watch late next weekend into early the following week for another ugly system trying to impact our weather…
Speaking of ugly… let’s track another ugly evening in Kentucky…
Enjoy the evening and take care.
A few lightning strikes near the Owensboro KY/Evansville IN area this evening. Otherwise, looks like status quo for our general region. Today is not as wet as yesterday for Nashville TN (I recorded 1.91 inches Sunday on my rain gauge) but I nevertheless have had way more than my fill of dull grey skies. Anyway, thanks CB for your updates and everybody have a good Tuesday!
