Good Sunday everyone! What an awesome day our Saturday was with temps in the 70 degree range under sunny skies. The Cats got a big win down in Starkville and the basketball Cats showed us that we are going back to the good old days!!! ![]()
I don’t have a whole lot to add to the weather. Highs will be near 70 right on through Wednesday of next week. A BIG change is coming by Friday and Saturday with a cold front moving through bringing some showers and storms to us. This will be followed by cold temps for next weekend and even the chance some areas could see a flake or two.
After that… we are likely to go into a very stormy pattern that will lead us into the middle of the month when a rocking start to winter should begin to show up across much of the country! I will be talking more about that over the next few days as I am LOVING what I am seeing!
I should also put some weather forecast videos on line for you at some point this week!!
The blog is about ready to kick into overdrive as we head into winter. If you know of anyone who used to blog with when I was in Lexington… make sure they know where to find us now! Spread the word! ![]()
Have a great Sunday and take care!

Good Morning all!!! Thanks for the update Chris. It was a great Saturday. I, however, am sick of pretty days! Bring on the yucky stuff!
Have a great Sunday everyone! 🙂
Thanks Chris for the update…As much as I enjoy the GREAT weather, we are still in need of rain to end the drought. Hopefully the cold front on Friday and Saturday will help.
Since you are a snow lover, I can sense your excitement about what is to come. Right now I just want rain, then the white stuff can come on down. Thanks for the update and I can’t wait to hear your future predictions.
If we have enough white stuff we won’t need rain but it will prob be like every other winter cold no snow moisture not cold enough. I think Bubba G said that
I can’t wait for that active pattern…low 70’s in November is just plain ole boring. Thanks Chris for not mentioning my lowly Cardinals losing to Syracuse…
I’m just loving this weather right now. This is my first school year that I’m retired and I think the weather was just made for me!! It has been wonderful for just anything to be done outside. But – I’m getting tired! I’m ready for some white stuff!!
Sharon…After all the years you devoted to educating students, you deserve it to be made just for you! Teachers are all deserving! I know it’s not an easy job!
bring on winter, an early start would be nice!!!

Tommy…..It’s good to hear you’re back in school. You’ve probably experienced lifes lessons in your travels as well! I know you’ll do great in school! I want a lot of snow too! Maybe we’ll get one here later this month!
Bring on the cold weather and snow. I know it’s early, but with all of the talk about cold weather got me in the mood to put up all of my Christmas stuff outside. Chris, you do a great job as usual.
Well, I for one can’t wait for the video forecasts. That along with this blog and it’s going to be like we never lost you!
