Good Saturday everyone and welcome to the month of November. I will keep this short as our near term weather looks VERY good for the first week of this new month.
Highs will continue to run in the mid to upper 60s this weekend. We will see a few more clouds developing but any shower looks to stay to the north of the Ohio River right now.
Temps will make a run toward 70 from Monday through Wednesday of next week making for a good looking election day.
Things start to change by next Thursday as a plains storm moves toward the western lakes and drags a cold front through the region. This front will bring a big time temp drop from Friday into next weekend. It should also bring some showers and even a few thunderstorms to the area as it blows through. I will be talking more in depth about this later in the weekend.
I am still very bullish on the idea of a VERY early start to winter across the eastern half of the country. Many of the models and their ensembles are beginning to go toward this idea as well…

Interesting times ahead my friends!!!! I will be doing a lot more on all this with future posts over the next few days.
Have a great Saturday and be sure to check back for the latest.
Take care.

Sounds good to me, Chris.
Now, I hope next week can bring a big storm to this area that is filled with simultaneous wind and heavy rain to blow all the leaves off the trees and to soak up the ground to help us get out of this drought! And maybe a little lightning just to add to the spookiness of a “spooky storm” that would do Halloween proud 😉

I guess in time I will be able to reveal my sources, as highly controversial as they may be, as to why I was able to see snowfall by the Thanksgiving season, and more particularly, ON Thanksgiving day EXACTLY.
Hmmmm….
I’ll have to keep you waiting..
