Temps get VERY cold as that low passes by late Sunday afternoon…
A few days later, the European Model brings the arctic wave into the region…
The European temps behind that arctic system…
Buckle up for the ride!
Enjoy the evening and take care.

THINKING SNOW!!!

I`m hoping for snow and very quickly. A big snow this coming weekend would be awesome. But, Louisville mets and the NWS here are saying mostly rain, changing to snow later. But they did say things could change, so we`ll see. I like the low track above, starting in the gulf (moisture) and then moving into Eastern Tennessee and into West Virginia northward is an awesome path for our area.

I watched another weather blog and they were not that optimistic about the cold or the snow next week.

Chris, Your weather forecast are awesome. I am 2 hours away back in Huntington, WV and I dont listen to their weather any more. You are always closer to the weather than they are. Bring on the Snow!!!!!!!!!
You all can have all the snow you want because there are some of us that don’t want it.I’m one of them that doesn’t kathy.

It’s fine if you don’t want it, Danny, but please don’t bash those that do.

Berea reporting in with a couple flakes in the air today but zero coating on anything, let alone an over producing snow squall. Our usual type of results, save for two events last winter, so that’s means winter is officially started here!
The “arctic” air is going to have to get a lot lower than single digits to be impressive after last winter. Is there a numerical equivalent to “playoff game Andy Dalton cold”? At any rate, I’ll be happy to be unimpressed for the rest of the season because I’d rather people not have to deal with that level of extreme again.

Agreed. I had to drive to Danville for work when they hit -18. Breathing that cold of air messed my lungs up for weeks.

Starting in with the lies again, I see.

I see 2-5 inches on backside of low as it pulls in cold, probably will chance, but good bet right now Sunday evening/monday
The weather channel is unbelievable! They were saying warmer than normal winter in December. Now they have a “new” forecast stating that it’s going to be a colder than normal winter. Not much of a forecast when you change it after it gets “colder than normal”.
Brrrr!
