Good Saturday everyone and thanks for stopping by the blog. I have to ask though… what the heck are you doing on here when you could be outside enjoying this awesome weather?

There really isn’t a whole lot to say about the weekend forecast. Highs in the 70s under sunny skies with lows in the 40s. It’s a great time to get out and check on some of the early colors showing up across the state. Here is the latest from our friends at the state tourism department…

ColorFall Week 2 Oct. 1-7, 2008

I am noticing some spots where the leaves are running ahead of schedule and our recent chilly snap will speed up this process in the days to come.

As far as the weather goes for next week. It will be windy and fairly warm early in the week as we flirt with 80 Monday and Tuesday.

A storm system will roll eastward by Wednesday bringing some showers and thunderstorms to the state. This has the potential to bring a nice little drink of water to us into the end of the week.

The active pattern I have been sniffing out is looking more and more promising starting with the end of next week then kicking into high gear toward mid month.

I will update at some point later Tonight so check back. Have a great weekend and take care!
