Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. The storm system impacting our weather over the next few days looks to be a fairly slow mover. This means some subtle changes to the forecast. We will talk about those changes and throw the tracking toys your way.

Here is the breakdown…

– A slower moving low pressure means we get some bonus dry weather today. The first half of the day should be mainly dry with scattered showers and storms blowing up later in the day into the evening. The farther east you live… the more dry weather you should see.

– Storms later today into this evening may be on the strong or severe side with the highest chance of that action across the west.

– Temps today will be tricky. Areas that are mostly dry with sunshine will see readings well into the 80s with a 90 not out of the question.

– The low pressure will swing through the Ohio Valley tonight with showers and isolated thunderstorms carrying into Sunday.

– Sunday will see temps struggling into the mid 70s in the east as showers and clouds will do a number on thermometers. Out west… highs will hit the low 80s.

– A few showers will likely linger into early Monday across the east. Temps will remain pleasant with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

– This should be a breezy next several days.

– Temps should rebound back into the mid and high 80s by the middle of next week before another cold front swings in with showers and storms and cooler temps.

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for… the storm tracking goodies…
