Good Saturday afternoon everyone. Just a quick update for you on how the tropics are heating up. Here is a map of all the activity that has a chance to develop. I have circled the 3 main players…
The one in the Gulf of Mexico is the most pressing as it is closest to land and I think it will develop into a storm over the next few days.
The other two in the Atlantic have a good shot at becoming storms as well. A lot to track in the coming days.
Speaking of heating up. High temps around here will be heading into the middle 90s for Monday and Tuesday for the hottest weather of the summer. It will be quick lived as a big trough digs in for the end of next week with an increase in shower and storm action and MUCH cooler temps.
Is this the last stand for the hot weather? Hmmmm….

chris you know it never works that way, it( low 90’s) will likely make one more stand toward the end of aug, i wish it would though i’m ready for fall !!!

Edouard has formed in the gulf. Looks like it is headed for Texas/Louisiana border. Could make landfall as a strong t. storm or cat 1 hurricane.

Good evening folks, hope everyone has had a nice weekend, mine has been hectic as usual with 5 kids in the house and a set of 18mon. old twins you cant expect much less than hectic…lol…anyways got to spend friday and saturday at the lake and that nice..now back to reality……Lets get through this upcoming week of misery, the HEAT..cause I like whats coming down the road afterwards…could we experience 70’s for Highs and Low humidity!!! ahhh that will be nice for August standards.
