Good evening, folks. We’re putting the wraps on a gorgeous weekend across the bluegrass state. Now comes some ugly stuff for the week ahead.
A few showers sweep in tonight, but a bigger system is lurking for Tuesday and Wednesday. This could bring rain and thunder followed by some wet snows…
Look at how quickly the temps go from above normal to below normal…
A colder system follows that up a few days later…
That can bring rain and snow Thursday into Friday.
The pattern for the following week is ready to flip to a very warm and stormy one…
That’s a setup that could be our thunderstorm season off and running a littler early.
Enjoy the evening and take care.
Thanks Chris. Man after a weekend like this one you are just full of good news aren’t you? ;). Aporeciate the heads up as usual. Have a good evening all.
so much for the snowy…colder…stormy pattern lasting through the middle of march….
that’s what I was hinting at previous post.
seems the tone of what’s to come has changed dramatically.
I do believe we are going to have quite an active severe weather season.
I said a week or so ago. That we were done except for an anchor biter or two, but mostly flurries. You can’t totally rule out a decent snowstorm but I would say the odds are about 20% or less of it happening.
So there is a chance?
Glad I moved-betting that 40+ yr old water maple tree next to my old house is pretty close to coming down if the winds pick up any more than what they are now (Bardstown)! WOW! My dogs wanted out BAD, but when I opened the door, they were both like, “Uh, nope..don’t think so, Ma”!!
