Hello my little bloggers and welcome to the weekend… almost! Just a few more hours before the work week is behind us. By us… I mean you! Hard to believe it’s been a week and a half since I was among the employed at WKYT. I have another week before I head to my next adventure in life… WSAZ TV.

I am enjoying my time off by packing and getting stuff done for the big move. But I am also taking some time to catch up on some much needed sleep and to just relax a little bit. But I am getting excited about the new job at WSAZ. I am hoping to fit right in with the wonderful staff they have there and hope the tri state people welcome me with open weather arms.

Okay… enough about little old me. Let’s talk about some of the good stuff… the weather!

Headlines…

1. What an awesome Thursday we had. Temps in the low and mid 80s with low humidity combined with a blue sky to give it a labor day feel.

2. Temps for Friday will be on the increase with middle to high 80s likely along with a touch more humidity. Is there a chance for a surprise boomer? Hmmm

3. Our front for the weekend looks like it is slowing down a little bit and may give us a  mainly dry Saturday now. If it continues to slow down… temps Saturday can make a run at 90. Southwesterly winds will pick up regardless of the temps. The best chance for storms will be later in the day.

4. Showers and storms will become likely Saturday night into Sunday as the front moves through the state. Highs Sunday will likely stay in the 70s. Locally heavy rains will accompany the line of storms.

5. The front will cool us down once again for the early and middle part of next week. This looks like a nice little refreshing mass of Canadian air that will bring low 80s for highs and upper 50s for lows to us.

6. Will the REAL heat ever get in here? If so, will it stay for more than a few days? Blah Blah Blah…

Well… that’s all I have for you with this post. I will update the weekend outlook once again later Friday so make sure you check back before starting those weekend plans.

Time for me to get back to studying those West Virginia and Ohio maps.

Take care.
