Hello to all my friends from my soon to be “old” blog at WKYT. I wanted to design a new blog for that will cover the entire state of Kentucky with some of the best weather coverage you can find. I will be updating this blog just like I have with the old one for past several years.
I thought I would thow that pic in just in case you had forgotten what my ugly mug looked like! 
I have one more day with my WKYT blog then the focus will be shifting to this new blog and one for my new employer WSAZ TV. That one won’t start until I begin my tv gig there on July 24th. I hope you will embrace this blog just as you did my old one as nothing will really be changing. I will actually have more freedom with this blog and should even get around to posting videos for you.
Tell one and all that Bailey has a brand new blog!

Had a nice trip to CU today. I thought about you. Everyone there is fine, although we are all trying to come to grips with Dr. Bobby Himes passing away last weekend. He was a retired prof., but was still around the campus alot. Tell Chase that I am glad that he is enjoying WKU.

Glad to hear from you. I had replied before but didn’t know if you’d seen them. Chase is fine and now is thinking of joining the Coast Guard much to my chagrin. He’s never satisfied with being settled! How are your boys?

This is really neat. We can just keep writing back and forth. I guess this change won’t be so bad after all. Have you read WKYT blog today? Now we will have 3 blogs to keep track of. Pat…Has it rained all weekend in your neck of the woods this weekend. Every time I checked the radar it looks like it’s pouring there. Chase has so far just been looking into it. I’m hoping this is just one of his whims. Have you been keeping up with the Olympics. What about Tyson?? I hope he didn’t mess his hamstring up too bad.

We have watched the Olympics every time it has been on. In fact we know several of the officials and have been watching for them. We did see a couple of them. According to Tyson today he should be ok. Well have a good day at work tomorrow and we will talk again soon.

Great blog. I really like the weather links. I don’t understand all that I see but I am looking forward to learning. It’s like moving into a new house. Takes awhile to feel comfortable but I know I will settle in.
