Good Sunday, folks. Springtime in Kentucky is famous for some back and forth with the temperatures, and that’s exactly what I’m seeing over the next few weeks. Cold blasts and mild shots should act to help balance out the force, though there is some indication of the cold outdueling the mild.

That’s the case out there today with readings generally in the 40s for highs. We will also see a fast-moving system working across western Kentucky and into our southern counties. These areas are the prime targets for some light rain mixed with a few snowflakes.

The rest of your Monday looks better with some sunshine and temps hitting the 50-55 degree range… still below normal.

The 60s show up by Tuesday with 70 possible Wednesday into Thursday. This is ahead of a strong cold front moving in here by Thursday night…
