Good Friday to one and all. This stormy pattern continues to cause all kinds of issues across the bluegrass state. From flooding rains to damaging winds, the past several days have been super active. It’s only fitting for the final day of the week to go out with the potential for more severe storms and flash flooding.

We could see a couple of rounds of big storms working across the region. The first potential comes early today as storm clusters work toward the east and southeast. These storms may try to “train” over the same areas. If that happens, the flash flood threat really increases.

Another line of strong to severe storms then develops later today into the evening as a cold front settles into the region from the northwest. Damaging winds, large hail and flooding rains continue to be the main threats from both of these rounds.

We will catch a break in the action as nice weather moves in on Saturday. Don’t get used to the nice weather, additional rounds of storms may try to develop later Sunday into next week. At this point… Why not? 🙂

I leave you with your Friday severe weather tracking toys…
