Good Tuesday to one and all. Scattered storms returned to southern Kentucky on Monday, and now the rest of the state gets in on the act. This action kicks off another stormy setup across the bluegrass state. This pattern may also lead to some issues before all is said and done. Does that really surprise you?
Today’s storms increase as the day wears on, and with an increase in humidity, locally heavy rains will be possible. I can’t rule out a strong storm or two…
A few storms will also be around on Wednesday as humidity levels keep climbing. Storms become likely on Thursday as a cold front drops in from the northwest. Some of these could be strong or locally severe…
That front is likely to put the brakes on across the region with cool air to the north, and hot air to the south. Guess what that could mean for our weather?
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms look to develop and work across the Ohio Valley. Heavy rainfall is something we will have to keep a very close eye on this weekend into early next week.
Given how wet things have been over the past few weeks, this is something for us to really keep a close eye on as we get closer.
Make it a great day and take care.
Thanks Chris. Geez…. I don’t mind a good thunderstorm or a good rain, but we are getting way too much of a good thing! Looks like it’s getting ready to open up here now from the looks of the sky and the radar. Ah well…. Good thing we’ve traded for a few boats! Have a great Tuesday everyone and please keep an eye on the weather and the blog. Thanks Chris for all you do.
