Good Monday and welcome to August. The final month of Summer is upon us and it’s starting out with what we have been seeing for the first two months… Storms. Rounds of showers and storms will impact the region this week, and these can easily cause additional issues.

Today is a day to watch the west and northwest for a few clusters of storms diving in here. These can be on the strong side, while packing a lot of lightning and torrential rains. With the saturated ground, local high water issues will be possible. This setup has been talked about on this blog for the past few days.
