Good Wednesday, everyone. The much talked about tropical weather pattern has settled into the region, and is bringing rounds of heavy rain producing storms with it. This action is likely to kick into high gear by the time we get into the upcoming weekend.

The stuff out there today will continue to be scattered, but potent. Any storm that goes up will be a slow-mover and have the potential to put down a lot of rain. Outside of storms… it’s steamy and steamier.

It’s interesting to note that the European Model was all over this setup for days on end, but convective feedback is giving the model fits the past few days.

Regardless, the stage is set for repeat showers and thunderstorms that can cause flash flooding. This overall pattern really doesn’t show too many signs of letting up in the coming weeks.
