Good Thursday to one and all. We have a gorgeous blast of early fall temperatures arriving right on cue as we open the month of September. This will be some of the good stuff as we roll into the Labor Day weekend. While that’s happening, I’m closely watching what happens with Hermine. This storm may track far enough west to bring a close call to parts of the region.

Let’s start with today’s dose of fabulous. Morning showers will slowly push away to the south and east as skies clear. Humidity levels drop with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 for many.

Lows Friday morning will hit the mid and upper 50s for many with some patchy fog around. The afternoon will feature sunshine and mid to upper 70s for highs.

This is when we start watching what happens with soon to be Hurricane Hermine coming out of the eastern Gulf of Mexico. The forecast path on this storm continues to edge toward the west and some models have been throwing some rain into the east and southeast Friday night into Saturday. That is still a small chance, at this point.

Saturday’s weather continues to look awesome as the system passes us to the east.

Look this model loop for the next 10 days and watch how Hermine goes up the east coast then loops back…

That’s pretty insane to see. Also, you can see snow showing up across the Rockies! 😉

Here are the tracking toys for Hermine…

Have a great day and take care.
