Good Monday, everyone. We have another wonderful day to start the work week across the bluegrass state. This nice stuff isn’t going to hang around very long, so get out there and soak it up. The overall pattern is becoming more active and that’s going to lead to increasing rain chances in the coming days.

We know today is very pleasant, but watch for an isolated shower trying to pop in far southeastern Kentucky. Additional isolated stuff will be possible on Tuesday across the southern half of the state. That happens as temps turn warm and humidity levels come up.

A cold front drops in on Wednesday with the threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms…

That front likely hangs around as a system rolls in from the west and southwest later this week into the coming weekend. The end result will be showers and thunderstorms on the increase…

Something tropical may try to develop somewhere across the southeast this week, and that will be something to watch for.

The setup into next week may allow for another system to slowly work across the Ohio Valley. The models have been hinting at some kind of cut off system.

What does the CFS seasonal model think of the next 4 weeks? Here’s a look…

Enjoy the day and take care.
