Good afternoon, everyone. Winter continues to blow back into the bluegrass state today as gusty northwesterly winds kick in. A few flurries and snow showers will increase on this flow and will ramp up by later in the weekend.

Winds are gusting to 30mph at times with temps in the 30s. That’s making it feel much, much colder. The flakes increase from the northwest into tonight, when some coatings will be possible by Friday morning.

Flurries and snow showers will be around Friday into Saturday with temps a little colder than today. Light accumulations are possible, especially at night.

The Sunday system will be the one that can put down a more widespread light accumulation that takes us into Monday. That’s the one that can give us some Monday morning snow days for some.

The Tuesday through Thursday systems show up better and better as we inch closer. The Canadian really likes the snow chances with a couple of systems…
