More updates as needed. The previous update is below.
Good Saturday afternoon everyone. Thunderstorms have been kicking it up across far western parts of the state for the better part of the day. These storms will continue to crank into the evening hours and some may become severe.
In addition to the threat for damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rains are likely and these can easily cause flash flooding in some areas as storms move from northwest to southeast over the same areas. This while corridor of storms is slowly drifting to the east and will move into the rest of the state overnight into Sunday.
This will bring the severe and flash flood threat to just about the entire state. This same setup will continue into Monday and Tuesday as this promises to be a very active period that will keep us busy.
We have you set to track the storms of today…

Thanks for the heads up Chris. I’m hoping those storms get outta here BEFORE tomorrow. It’s our company picnic and we haven’t had one in more than a few years!
The storms moving this way don’t look to friendly.
